More about Sadler Hall...
- M.E. Sadler Hall houses offices of the Chancellor, Provost, and other administrators; scholarships and student financial aid; the controller and financial services; the registrar and the Center for Academic Services
- Sadler Hall replaced a previous building that served as a men's residence hall called Clark Hall (not the same as the current co-ed residence hall), which was demolished due to excessive deterioration and need of a new administration building
- The prior administration building is what now stands as the renovated Reed Hall, which holds classrooms and offices
- Legend has it that you must avoid walking in the grass in front of the Hall or you will be sprayed with a hose by the ghost of the one-time groundskeeper, Cowboy Monroe, who used to claim during his time at TCU in the 1940's and 1950's that this grass was "his."
